500 Years Young: A Quincentenary Celebration

2017 marks a very special anniversary for all of us at Aikwood Tower…

We will be celebrating 500 years since King James V granted the lands of Aikwood, the feu deposition, to the Scott family. Since then, Aikwood Tower has been built and remained under the ownership of a long line of Scotts and we feel very privileged to be the current custodians.

After taking over the keys and opening Aikwood up to holiday guests and wedding couples we've been delighted by the series of lovely comments left in our guest book. We're touched that so many people love and appreciate Aikwood and its stories just as much as we do.

There's lots of plans underway to ensure we celebrate this landmark Quincentenary year in style, so more news to be posted soon.
