 1. Bowhill House, Saturday 2nd to Sunday 17th April.

Bowhill is always a cracking day out for all the family!  Enjoy the walks, adventure playground and ‘Horsebox’ take-away refreshments throughout the holidays.

 2. Traquair House, Easter Eggstravaganza, Sunday 17th April. From 11am

The biggest egg hunt in the Borders, Traquair’s Easter Eggstravaganza is back once more for a fabulous day of egg hunting, egg painting and lots of other activities. With the largest hedged maze in Scotland, there could be no better place for an Easter Egg Hunt. There will be 5,000 eggs to be found during two egg hunts during the afternoon - egg hunts are confined to the Under 10’s with an easter egg scramble for under 5’s in the Walled Garden.

But the event is not all about a mad rush for chocolate! There are lots of other fun, hands on activities for families including Scavenger Hunts with Big Egg prizes, Spot the Egg in the House Competition, Easter bonnet making and storytelling in the woods. There are also lots of opportunities to paint your own egg and you can also join in with the communal decorating of the gigantic 6ft Egg which definitely is not one to be cracked!

3. Beirhope Alpaca’s Easter Alpaca visits and Egg Hunt, Friday 15th to Sunday 17th April.

This is a fun twist on an egg hunt while meeting some of Beirhope’s lovely and very friendly Alpacas. Join in on the Easter egg hunt and enjoy some lovely countryside crafting from Easter cards to bird feeders. There are some wonderful picnic spots dotted around Beirhope so take along your picnic too to make the most of the wonderful Borders countryside. Pre-booking is essential.

4. Abbotsford House, Easter Activites, Monday 4th April to Sunday 17th April.

Hop along to Abbotsford for their fun Easter Egg Trail in the magical Abbotsford woodlands or make your own Easter bunny and bookmark with their ranger on the 7th and 14th April.. Then stop by Ochiltree’s Café, where they will be serving special Easter treats to titillate the taste buds.

5. Paxton House Easter Extravaganza, Saturday 16th April.

Paxton House will be hosting an Easter Extravaganza with a great assortment of fun activities for the day that will suit the whole family.
