A COVID-19 MESSAGE

To ensure the health and wellbeing of our guests, team and wider community we have very sadly temporarily closed our doors as advised by the Government. We have been working with all our visitors due in the next few months to reschedule their stays and celebrations – their understanding and compassion in the extraordinary situation that we find ourselves in has been hugely appreciated by us.

The team are busy working away keeping Aikwood and the gardens looking their absolute best for when we can welcome our visitors back. In the meantime, we are doing virtual wedding tours and are very happy to answer your queries about short breaks, family get-togethers and special occasions in the future. Our most up to date availability can be found here, but please bear in mind this may change in line with Government guidance and local and international travel restrictions.

Aikwood has stood for some 500 years and has faced many challenges in this time, from marauding reivers to abandonment. Happy times will return in the future, but now is the time to stay home, support our communities and prepare for when Scotland is told it’s safe to open again.
