Screaming Peacock has been hatching Scotland’s finest handmade Venison and pheasant burgers and veggie peckers since 2016. The veni burgers are made from 100% wild venison, straight from the family’s deer stalking business and all the pheasants are plucked and processed by the team. The veggie burgers are also vegan, and all are best served with yummy fries.

Born and raised in Lima, Peru, Carlo Carozzi of The Peruvian has made it his mission to bring the flavours of his homeland to the streets (and gardens!) of Scotland. And boy, what a job he’s done…
In 2018, The Peruvian won the ‘Best Snack’ gong at the prestigious British Street Food Awards for their Tiger’s Milk Ceviche, a must-try amongst the traditional Peruvian dishes, and those with a twist.
Carlo will be dishing up an ever-changing menu at Aikwood Tower before his residency at Cask Smugglers bar in Edinburgh opens up again, including:
LOMOSALTADO: A stir fry of marinated sirloin steak pieces, red onions, tomatoes, spring onions and coriander served with chips and garlic rice. (£9)
ANTICUCHOS: Cow heart skewers marinated for 24 hrs in a Peruvian spice blend, potatoes, salsa de rocoto (£8)
TIGER’S MILK CEVICHE: Fresh white fish cured in lime juice served with sweet potato, choclo
corn, limo chillies, onion, coriander and canchita (fried corn) (£8)
TEQUENOS: Pastry wrapped cheese sticks, deep fried and served with Peruvian-style guacamole (avocado dip packed with red onion, tomatoes, coriander and lime) (£5)
PERUVIAN CHIPS WITH CHEESE: Chips topped with huancaina sauce (a spicy Peruvian cheese sauce) (£5)

Pizzas at their very best only come from a wood-fired oven. Hot melted mozzarella and herby tomato on fresh, crispy doughy bases, delish! the toppings will change daily, but expect your favourites to be amongst them (£7-9)
