CELEBRATING LOCAL TALENT

We're having a bit of an arty moment this week. Our collaboration with local artists continues and we're super pleased to announce the second Scottish Borders artist whose work is being displayed on our real-life gallery walls - Becksy.   

Becksy takes her inspiration from wildlife, gin and her very busy imagination!  She is fast becoming known for her unique and distinguished pieces created simply with oil paint and a palette knife - and we can see why! These fine Leaping Salmon and Jumping Fox specimens are looking lovely in the Great Hall. 

And this weekend we'll be mostly hanging out at the Borders Art Fair. The three day event looks set to be a wonderful showcase of local artistic and creative talent.
